Salem dojo
The Salem dojo offers training in Ki development, Ki Aikido and Kiatsu®.
The dojo is located in the Englewood Elementary School cafeteria. Enter under the stairwell facing Nebraska Street.
Why not give Aikido a try?
Aikido is a beautiful and effective martial art that is safe, healthy, and fun. Classes are ongoing, and you may start at any time.
Getting started
Call us at (503) 508-5354 or send e-mail to let us know you are coming and get answers to any questions you might have. Plan on arriving at the school at 6:15 to get acquainted and receive a brief introduction to the principles of our training. A T-shirt and warm-up pants are appropriate attire.

Labor day weekend

October, 2010

Randori class
Sunday October 3rd, 9:30, at the Tigard dojo
The usual advanced aikido class will cover randori. All students brown belt and up are encouraged to attend.

World Camp
Wednesday October 20th – Saturday October 23rd at all dojos
The annual Ki Society world camp is being held at Ki no Sato in Japan.

Aikido instructors' workshop
Saturday October 30th – Sunday October 31st at the Tigard dojo
The workshop will focus on teaching skills for aikido instructors currently teaching a class, with feedback from Tabata sensei. All brown belts and instructors are requested to attend Sunday afternoon.
November, 2010

Fall camp
Saturday November 20th, 9:00 am on Saturday, 7:30 am on Sunday, at the Tigard dojo
One of two annual opportunities to train Aikido intensively, Fall camp is open to all current students.

Thanksgiving
Thursday November 25th – Friday November 26th at all dojos
No classes over the holiday weekend.

No classes on Thanksgiving Sunday.
December, 2010

Management conference
Sunday December 5th, 9:00 am, at the Tigard dojo
All instructors are invited to attend the annual management conference.

Misogi
Sunday January 9th, arrive by 8:30 am, misogi starts at 9:00 am, at the Tigard dojo
